Lexington Health is a comprehensive network of care including multiple medical centers and affiliated facilities serving the Columbia, South Carolina area. The Environmental Services team performs the full range of cleaning tasks to maintain a healthy, safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff on the day shift from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

Minimum qualifications are not specific; candidates are expected to read guidelines, follow cleaning product directions, and complete tasks promptly.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, understand, and carry out written guidelines, procedures and other material.
• Must be able to interpret and follow labeled directions on cleaning products and related items.
• Must be able to understand and carry out verbal and written instructions to complete tasks in a timely manner.

Responsabilités

• Performs a full range of basic and specialty cleaning tasks to maintain a healthy, clean, safe environment for patients, visitors and staff.
• Maintains supplies, handles waste disposal per proper protocol, and ensures equipment is properly stored after use.
• Supports hospital operations by attending training, reporting area conditions, and adhering to safety and disaster procedures.
• Performs cleaning duties in various hospital areas and assists with special events or room turnover as needed.
