Job summary

Lexington Health, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Environmental Services team member to perform the full range of cleaning tasks across hospital areas during the PM shift (3:00 PM – 11:30 PM).

The role emphasizes patient safety, infection control, and a positive, service-oriented attitude in a fast-paced healthcare environment. The successful candidate will follow established cleaning protocols, adhere to regulatory requirements, and contribute to a clean, welcoming atmosphere for patients,

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, understand, and carry out written guidelines, procedures and other material.
• Must be able to interpret and follow labeled directions associated with cleaning products and other items.
• Must be able to comprehend and carry out verbal and written instructions and requests in a manner to accomplish tasks in an appropriate and timely manner; Must be able to understand and use computer operations for review and approval of personal time, annual online mandatory training, and updating personal information in the hospital computer database.

Responsibilities

• Maintains an optimistic, professional demeanor and follows Hospital Service Expectations Policy.
• Performs cleaning tasks including dusting, washing, mopping, vacuuming, and carpet care as required by department procedures.
• Handles and disposes of waste and hazardous materials according to proper protocol and safety guidelines.
• Supports department and hospital operations with timely communication and attendance; assists with bed cleaning and room turnover as needed.
