Job summary

The role focuses on performing a full range of basic and specialty cleaning tasks to ensure a clean, healthy environment for patients and staff in several hospital areas. Employees participate in ongoing training, adhere to written guidelines, and support patient care areas with attention to safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, understand, and carry out written guidelines, procedures and other material.
• Must be able to interpret and follow labeled directions for cleaning products and related items.
• Must be able to understand and carry out verbal and written instructions in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

• Perform full range of cleaning tasks to maintain a healthy, clean, safe environment for patients and staff.
• Operate cleaning equipment and mix cleaning solutions as needed.
• Assist with moving and setting up rooms for events and teaching activities.
• Maintain supplies, report maintenance needs, and follow safety guidelines.
