Lexington Health, Inc. is seeking a full-time Environmental Services worker for day shift at our West Columbia, SC facilities. You will perform comprehensive cleaning to maintain a safe, healthy environment for patients, visitors and staff, following all local, state and federal regulations.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, understand, and carry out written guidelines, procedures and other material.
• Must be able to interpret and follow labeled directions associated with cleaning products.
• Must understand verbal and written instructions and update personal information in the hospital computer database.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an optimistic, professional demeanor and provide courteous service to patients, visitors and staff.
• Perform comprehensive cleaning tasks including dusting, mopping, vacuuming and carpet care per departmental procedures.
• Handle waste disposal and hazardous materials following proper protocols.
• Support hospital operations by reporting needs, attending trainings and maintaining attendance.
• Clean in multiple hospital areas as assigned and adapt to patient needs and diversity.
