Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent required.
• Three to four years of management experience, preferably in a hospital or healthcare setting.
• Equivalent education and experience may substitute for required qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day EVS operations to ensure the operational needs of the hospital are met.
• Oversee cleaning and disinfection, waste management, linen services, integrated pest management, and room setup.
• Ensure compliance with infection control, patient safety, and environmental services standards and regulations.
• Partner with hospital leaders to coordinate EVS activities, schedules, priorities, and service expectations.
• Assist the Director with operational plans, budgets, policies, procedures, and department strategies.
• Manage staffing, including interviewing, hiring, training, performance management, and corrective action.
• Plan, assign, and oversee the work of supervisors and other direct reports.
• Monitor department performance and implement best practices to improve quality, safety, efficiency, and patient care.
