Qualifications

  • Manage staffing, including interviewing, hiring, training, performance management, and corrective action.
  • Plan, assign, and oversee the work of supervisors and other direct reports.
  • Monitor department performance and implement best practices to improve quality, safety, efficiency, and patient care.

Harborview Medical Center Environmental Services has an outstanding opportunity for a Manager of Environmental Services .

WORK SCHEDULE
  • 100% FTE (40 hours per week)

  • Day Shift

POSITION HIGHLIGHTS
  • Manage day-to-day operations for one of Harborview Medical Center’s largest departments

  • Oversee Environmental Services functions including cleaning and disinfection, waste management, linen services, integrated pest management, and room setup

  • Support specialized patient care areas including Operating Rooms (OR), ICUs, patient care floors, and the Emergency Department (ED)

  • Develop and implement efficient operational processes and Environmental Services best practices

  • Collaborate with hospital leaders, staff, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure continuity and quality of services

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Manage day-to-day EVS operations to ensure the operational needs of the hospital are met
