Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking an Environmental Services Manager to coordinate daily EVS operations, ensuring clean, safe environments for patients, families, and staff. The role reports to the EVS leadership and requires strong leadership, budgeting, and process improvement skills.

Qualifications include an Associate degree and at least 5 years in housekeeping or facilities management, with a preference for a Bachelor's degree.

• Associate degree in Business, Health Care, Hotel Management, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Housekeeping or Facilities Management.

Responsibilities

• Oversees EVS operations and ensures compliance with regulations (JCAHO, EPA, OSHA, federal/state/local).
• Schedules staff to cover all assignments and allocates resources to match hospital needs.
• Assists in budgeting and monitors monthly variances in supplies, services, and labor costs.
• Directs staff training and performance management, including coaching and disciplinary actions.
