Compass Group USA seeks a Director of Environmental Services to lead the hospital EVS team, ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for patients and staff. You will coordinate with hospital leadership to uphold high standards of service excellence, regulatory compliance, and operational effectiveness.

You will direct daily EVS functions, manage budgets, and drive continuous improvement initiatives while maintaining strong cross-department collaboration and a patient-centered approach.

Qualifications

• Experience leading Environmental Services or housekeeping teams in healthcare settings.
• Strong ability to analyze financial, productivity and operational data.
• Commitment to service excellence, and relationship-building with diverse stakeholders.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, including public speaking.

Responsibilities

• Lead, train, coach, and develop EVS associates to deliver high-quality service.
• Oversee the department’s financial performance, including expenses and productivity metrics.
• Develop and manage the EVS operating budget and ensure adherence to targets.
• Coordinate housekeeping with clinical and non-clinical departments to support operations.
• Maintain active communication with hospital administration and leaders.
• Plan, organize, direct, and supervise daily EVS functions and workflows.
• Establish work standards and implement policies to promote efficiency and quality.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and accrediting agencies.
• Support facility goals, quality improvement, and patient satisfaction outcomes.
• Demonstrate leadership to achieve performance objectives and service standards.
• Participate in Total Quality Management and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Additional duties as assigned
