A 400+ bed hospital in The Woodlands, TX, seeks a Director of Environmental Services to oversee housekeeping operations, lead a team of Assistant Directors and Operations Managers, and partner with hospital leadership to drive patient satisfaction and facility excellence.

Qualifications

• Four year college degree and/or equal related experience required
• Six years of housekeeping management experience at a healthcare account required
• Ability to analyze and interpret financial data
• General business acumen
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• High customer service and quality attitude
• Ability to work under pressure and meet goals
• Public speaking skills
• Participate in budget development and facility planning
• Proficient with Windows-based software including Office apps

Responsibilities

• Oversee all housekeeping operations and lead senior leaders
• Partner with hospital leadership to influence patient satisfaction and facility excellence
• Develop and manage department budget within approved limits
• Coordinate housekeeping activities with other departments
• Ensure compliance with regulatory agencies and internal policies
• Mentor and develop staff; drive education and performance
• Establish work standards and workflows; implement process improvements
• Communicate actively with administration and hospital teams
• Read, develop, and implement Total Quality Management processes
