Job summary

Crothall Healthcare, a Compass Group company, seeks a Director of Environmental Services to lead the housekeeping department within a hospital setting. You will coordinate with Assistant Directors and Operations Managers, and act as a liaison between administration and hospital departments.

The role focuses on financial oversight, budget development, and ensuring regulatory compliance while guiding staff and promoting continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Four year college degree and/or equal related experience required
• Six years of housekeeping management experience at a healthcare account required
• Must have the ability to analyze and interpret financial and other data
• General business acumen and strong interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Direct and lead all operational aspects of the Housekeeping Department
• Coordinate tasks of Assistant Directors and Operations Managers
• Liaise between hospital administration and departments
• Develop and manage department operating budget and ensure budget adherence
• Plan, organize, and supervise housekeeping functions and activities
• Establish work standards, policies, and procedures
• Mentor staff and encourage innovation
• Ensure compliance with regulatory agencies and facility goals
