Crothall Healthcare, a Compass Healthcare company, seeks a Director of Environmental Services to lead housekeeping operations at a 400+ bed hospital in The Woodlands, Texas. You will guide a team of directors and managers, influence patient satisfaction, and partner with hospital leadership to drive facility excellence.

The role reports to hospital leadership and offers opportunities to develop a high-performing team, manage budgets, and optimize operational performance in a healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• Four year college degree or equivalent experience required.
• Six years of housekeeping management experience in a healthcare setting required.
• Ability to analyze and interpret financial data.
• General business acumen.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• High customer service and quality attitude.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet goals.
• Public speaking skills.
• Proficient in Windows Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Oversee department’s financial data and statistics.
• Monitor unit expenditures.
• Develop and manage department operating budget within approved limits.
• Coordinate housekeeping activities with other departments.
• Communicate actively with hospital administration.
• Plan, organize, direct, and supervise department functions.
• Establish work standards and workflows.
• Implement policies and procedures for department operations.
• Mentor staff creativity and innovation.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and quality goals.
• Support facility goals and performance plans.
• Develop and maintain staff job descriptions.
• Encourage staff to participate in education programs.
