Saint Luke’s Hospital in Kansas City is seeking a Telephone Operator to handle inbound switchboard calls, route them to the right department, and coordinate emergency responses with calm, decisive action. Ideal candidates will have excellent interpersonal skills, strong customer service, and the ability to multitask under pressure.

The position is full-time day shift: Monday, Tuesday, and Friday 9:30am–9:00pm, with every other weekend.

Qualifications

• 2 years applicable experience in a similar role.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to handle emergencies calmly and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Answers inbound calls and routes to appropriate departments.
• Maintains detailed documentation in logs.
• Dispatches security requests via two-way radios.
• Monitors alerts and notifies necessary teams.
• Assists in mentoring new employees.
