WH Wheeling Hospital Inc. is seeking a receptionist/dispatcher to perform a broad range of clerical and dispatch duties in support of Facilities Engineering, Planning Design and Construction, and Security. The role focuses on ensuring safe, efficient operations and timely response to trouble calls.

The position requires a high school diploma, at least one year in an office setting, and strong written communication and telephone skills. It is a non-exempt, full-time role based in Wheeling, WV.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of prior experience in an office setting.
• Performs dispatching, data entry, access control, and clerical tasks to support Facilities Engineering/Planning Design and Construction and Security departments.

Responsabilidades

• Dispatching personnel to problem locations and reconciling assignments.
• Answering trouble calls in a courteous and professional manner.
• Route work requests to appropriate departments for immediate resolution.
• Dispatch personnel via two-way radio.
• Confirm status with call originator before end of shift.
• Monitor building control systems and trigger response plans as needed.
• Assist with communications and interdepartmental liaison.
• Maintain dispatch logs and weekly staffing board.
