Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Group USA company, is seeking an Assistant Director of Dining Services I in Covington, TN. You will help run day-to-day hospital dining operations, including patient and retail dining and catering, while leading a team and supporting client relationships and financial goals.

The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, talent development, and collaboration with directors, chefs, and marketing teams to ensure nutritious, high-quality meals and exceptional service.

Qualifications

• 3 years of food service management experience, preferably in healthcare.
• CDM certification or willingness to obtain within the first year of employment.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Financial experience and business acumen.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Associate’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Works with the Director, Chef and management team in creating nutritious and top quality food.
• Implements new culinary programs in conjunction with the marketing and culinary teams.
• Maintains excellent relationships with the client.
• Hands-on leadership. This role manages, trains, and develops associates.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
