Job summary

Labcorp seeks a Hospital Development Executive to drive growth of our hospital laboratory reference services in the Houston area. You will build relationships with C‑Suite leaders, educate on analytical platforms, and work with the sales team to broaden offerings and hit revenue goals.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years in medical sales; MBA is a plus. Strong presentation and CRM skills, plus proven healthcare sales success, are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 3 years' medical sales experience required.
• MBA preferred.
• 5+ years’ experience in the healthcare industry & diagnostic sales preferred.

Responsibilities

• Grow hospital laboratory reference business, including routine and specialty testing.
• Maintain relationships with existing client base and develop relationships with C‑Suite decision makers.
• Educate and implement analytical platforms and workflow efficiencies to clients.
• Collaborate with the sales team to expand services beyond clinical reference testing.
• Prepare and present professional presentations (in-person & virtual).
• Upsell all assigned and newly generated accounts in territory.
• Act as liaison between client and Labcorp operations to address needs.
• Provide ongoing service and timely resolution to customers and ensure retention.

Labcorp is seeking a Hospital Development Executive in our Houston, Texas region. The ideal candidate will live in Houston Metro area.

Responsibilities

• Grow new hospital Laboratory reference business, including routine and specialty testing
• Maintain relationships with existing client base and develop relationships with C‑Suite decision makers
• Educate and implement analytical platforms and workflow efficiencies to both current and potential clients
• Collaborate with other sales team members to expand services beyond the clinical reference testing
• Strong relationship building ability and experience
• Ability to prepare and present professional presentations (In‑Person & Virtually)
• Educate, instruct, and upsell all assigned and newly generated accounts in an assigned territory
• Act as a liaison between the client and the LabCorp operations team in relation to client needs
• Provide ongoing service and timely resolution to customer base
• Ensure customer retention by providing superior customer service
• Recommend solutions that are client focused
• Collaborate with entire sales team to grow book of business
• Meet and exceed monthly revenue goals

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree
• 3 years' experience medical sales experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Master of Business Administration
• 5 or more years’ experience in the healthcare industry & diagnostic sales

All job offers will be based on a candidate's skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data.

The position is also eligible for bonus and/or commissions under the applicable variable compensation plan. Bonus/commissions are earned based on achievement of performance metrics under the plan.
