Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent working knowledge.
• Ability to handle ongoing face-to-face contact with patients, guests and staff.
• Excellent oral communication and listening skills.

Responsibilities

• Meets, greets and assists patients and guests and provides general information regarding services and the facility.
• Responds to special requests from patients, customers and guests; arranges transportation or other services as needed.
• Gathers, summarizes and provides information about the property and surrounding area amenities.
• Coordinates patient needs with other departments; contacts appropriate departments to resolve requests.
• Coordinates access to the care delivery area; conducts visitor authorization and liaises between visitors and staff.
• Answers phone, transfers calls, takes messages and relays information as needed.
• Provides tours of the facility and escorts guests to appropriate areas.
• Performs daily duties with minimal supervision and assists with patient and guest inquiries to ensure a positive experience.
