Barnes-Jewish Hospital at Washington University Medical Center in Missouri is seeking a friendly Information Desk Associate to greet patients and visitors, provide directions, and share information about the medical center and local area.

This role emphasizes exceptional customer service, coordination with internal resources, and escorting guests as needed. The position is full-time with Monday–Friday hours and two available shifts.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred
• Monday–Friday schedule
• Shift times: 6:30 AM–3:00 PM or 11:00 AM–7:30 PM

Responsibilities

• Handles customer concerns and complaints immediately using appropriate service recovery tools and guidelines.
• Provides information regarding the medical center and local area.
• Greets patients and visitors, provides patient and hospital information and escort services to those in need.
• Utilizes technology to appropriately direct guests, visitors and patients throughout hospital campus.
• Assists with patient arrival and departure.
