Job summary

Responsibilities

• Operates central switchboard to answer and route incoming calls and communicate codes, alerts, drills and announcements.
• Operates beeper and paging system to contact hospital personnel and code team.
• Receives and relays internal and external calls and provides information per policy.
• Troubleshoots system issues when needed.
• Uses desk directories, on-call lists, and reference materials.
