Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 0–1 year experience in a medical setting or heavy customer service environment.
• Current BLS certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.
• Ability to obtain AVADE training within 30 days from start date.

Responsibilities

• Obtain complete and accurate demographic and financial information from patients and sources.
• Obtain required signatures on legal consents and insurance forms.
• Enter data in computer systems and document admissions/registrations accurately.
• Notify patients about insurance coverage issues, co-pays, deductibles, and deposits.
• Review physician orders for completeness and accuracy.
• Ensure Medicare compliance and ABN as necessary.
• Maintain multiple computer systems and provide good customer service.
• Answer calls using a pre-established script and assist callers.
