Guidehouse is seeking a Hospital Admissions Representative to join our team in Temple City, CA. You will obtain and verify patient demographics, insurance benefits and eligibility, assign the correct medical record and account number, and support accurate billing and clinical information.

This full-time role requires patient interaction, data entry accuracy, and compliance with insurance rules. Shifts include early mornings, with weekends and holidays on a rotating basis.

Qualifications

• Minimum 0-1 year experience in a medical setting or heavy customer service environment utilizing data entry skills, insurance or other online websites and various software applications, including volunteer work.
• Ability to obtain AVADE training offered by MLK Community Hospital within 30 days from start date.

Responsabilités

• Obtain complete and accurate demographic and financial information from patients and sources.
• Obtain required signatures on legal consents and insurance forms.
• Enter data and document admissions/registrations; update patient files.
