Job summary

Syneos Health, Inc. seeks a Hospital Account Specialty Representative in Grand Rapids, MI to drive territory growth by delivering compelling product presentations and educating healthcare professionals on value.

Senior candidates will manage hospital relationships, provide clinical information, and work with cross-functional teams to align execution and outcomes, with up to 50% travel and a BS/BA degree required.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree from an accredited institution.
• Valid driver's license.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% within assigned geography, including overnight travel.
• 5+ years of demonstrated experience and proven sales success in pharmaceutical/medical/biotech industry.
• 3+ years demonstrated experience calling on hospitals and health systems.
• Strong understanding of hospital decision‑making processes, clinical pathways, formulary management, and antimicrobial stewardship programs.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%, including overnight travel.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 35 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Manage hospital relationship – engaging clinical and non-clinical stakeholders to understand unique customer needs & priorities.
• Providing scientific and clinical information within the disease state area and approved product.
• Delivering sales presentations of approved products to physicians, APPs, medical staff, and other appropriate clinic personnel by utilizing customer engagement selling model.
• Effectively utilize and manage all resources to optimize customer engagement.
• Collaborate effectively across GSK’s highly matrixed sales organization, partnering closely with Organized Provider Account Directors, Reimbursement Managers, and other cross-functional stakeholders to drive aligned execution and business success.
• Participation in training and development programs while abiding by all industry and corporate policies and procedures.
