Job summary

Visiting Nurse Health System is seeking a results-driven Hospice Community Specialist – Business Development to own and grow the Metro Atlanta hospice referrals and admissions in Cherokee & Cobb counties. You will cultivate physician, hospital, and community partnerships, guiding patients and families through the hospice journey with empathy and professionalism.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in healthcare sales, a proven ability to expand referrals, and deep knowledge of the Atlanta market.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing, Health Administration, or Business Administration.
• 2+ years of healthcare sales experience (Hospice or Home Health preferred).
• Proven track record of growing referrals, managing key accounts, and delivering measurable results.
• Knowledge of the Metro Atlanta healthcare market is a plus.
• Natural ability to connect, influence, and build trust quickly.
• Empathy, compassion, and emotional intelligence.
• Self-motivated, competitive, and confident working independently.

Responsibilities

• Develop and expand referral relationships across physicians, hospitals, senior living communities, rehab centers, and skilled nursing facilities.
• Grow admissions by ensuring patients receive the right care at the right time.
• Establish territory presence as trusted partner and compassionate advocate.
• Develop and execute a focused territory plan balancing growth with quality of care.
• Prioritize high-impact relationships while staying responsive to patient and family needs.
