Job summary

Gentiva Health Services, Inc. in Newnan, GA is seeking a Hospice Care Consultant to lead strategic referral partnerships and educate healthcare professionals on hospice options.

You will cover Newnan and surrounding territories, building relationships with hospitals, home health agencies, SNFs, clinics, and physician offices to ensure timely referrals and quality patient care. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 2 years in healthcare sales, business development, or referral marketing.
• Strong existing relationships with physicians, hospitals, SNFs or home health professionals.
• Prior hospice, palliative care, or home health experience is a plus.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and time-management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM platforms.
• Sensitivity to needs of terminally ill patients and families.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding admissions and census targets.

Responsibilities

• Cover the Newnan, GA and surrounding territories.
• Educate, inform, and inspire confidence in our services for right-time referrals.
• Identify new referral opportunities by calling hospitals, home health agencies, SNFs, clinics, and physician offices.
• Engage in meaningful conversations with healthcare professionals about patient needs and hospice care benefits.
• Plan and execute strategic marketing initiatives to increase awareness and drive referral growth.
• Represent our organization at community events, professional associations, and in-services.
• Advocate for patients and families, guiding them through hospice options and early referrals.
