Job summary

Advanced Health Care is seeking a Hospice STNA to provide compassionate end‑of‑life care in patients' homes or care settings. The PRN role covers Weekdays with shifts from 9 AM to 5 PM, focusing on comfort, dignity, and family support during challenging times.

Responsibilities include personal care, vital sign monitoring, medication administration, and documenting care for quality and insurance purposes. Must hold an STNA license and have hospice experience.

Qualifications

• Valid State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) license in the state of work.
• 1 year of hospice or palliative care experience required.
• Knowledge of end‑of‑life care principles and practices.
• Strong clinical skills with compassionate care.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with patients and families.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with personal hygiene (bathing, grooming, dressing).
• Monitor vital signs and report changes to supervising nurse.
• Administer medications and treatments as directed by the healthcare team.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to patients.
• Assist with mobility and positioning to prevent bedsores and ensure safety.
• Support families in understanding and coping with end-of-life care.
