Job summary

Sanctuary Hospice is seeking a Full Time Hospice Aide (STNA) to join our compassionate team, providing hands-on care that brings comfort and dignity to patients at the end of life. Working closely with our nursing team, you’ll ensure each patient’s physical, emotional, and personal needs are met with respect, empathy, and professionalism.

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8 am - 4:30 pm. Coverage Area: Trumbull, Mahoning and Columbiana counties.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or G.E.D. required.
• Must be a graduate of a State-approved STNA program and hold current unencumbered certificate in the state working as a State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA).
• Minimum one (1) year experience as a STNA in an acute care or LTC setting preferred. Hospice exp a plus!
• Possess and maintain current CPR certification
• Current driver's license, vehicle insurance, and access to dependable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide Personalized Care: Follow the carefully crafted plan of care to ensure the comfort and well-being of our patients.
• Assist with Personal Care: Support patients with bathing, oral hygiene, and other personal care needs.
• Be Dedicated to Customer Service: Emphasize exceptional customer service and patient satisfaction.
• Provide Support for Families: Guide and support families in caring for their terminally ill loved ones.
• Maintain Accurate Documentation: Ensure documentation aligns with patient care and regulatory standards.
