Job summary

Logan Health in Kalispell, MT is seeking a compassionate RN Hospice Supervisor to lead an interdisciplinary hospice team and ensure high-quality patient care. The role emphasizes daily operations, staffing, and ongoing performance improvement, with on-site leadership and occasional field support.

You will guide admissions, plan patient care, and collaborate with leadership to address concerns while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Current Montana RN license or multi-state compact.
• Minimum 1 year leadership experience (Lead or Charge nursing qualifies).
• Minimum 2 years in Home Health or Hospice setting preferred.
• Strong communication, problem solving, and decision making skills.
• Proficiency with Excel and comfortable with medical software applications.
• Ability to work independently while supporting a collaborative team.
• RQI Provider (BLS) within 7 days of hire/transfer or before independent patient care.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing day to day hospice operations and ensuring high quality care.
• Hiring, coaching, evaluating, and managing performance.
• Creating and adjusting clinician schedules to meet patient needs.
• Supporting clinical problem solving and serving as primary resource for field staff.
• Reviewing admissions, recertifications, documentation, and service plans.
• Assisting intake by evaluating new referrals and visit availability.
• Leading compliance and quality efforts, including regulatory readiness and process improvement.
• Maintaining clinical competence and providing hands-on support when needed.
• Collaborating with leadership to address patient concerns and improve care experience.
• Monitoring financial performance and resource use.
• Ensuring adherence to Logan Health policies, regulatory requirements, and accreditation standards.
• Leading hiring processes, evaluations and corrective actions.
