Amedisys in Danvers, MA is seeking an experienced registered nurse for a full-time hospice care position on the day shift, with a $10,000 sign-on bonus. You will perform patient assessments and collaborate with the care team to develop and implement a plan of care in home settings.

Qualifications

• One year of nursing experience.
• Current RN license valid in Massachusetts.
• CPR certification active.

Responsabilités

• Performs patient assessments and collaborates with the care team to develop and implement a plan of care.
• Makes referrals to other hospice care disciplines as needed or documents rationale for not doing so.
• Develops and maintains patient care progress records with accuracy and timeliness.
• Records pain/symptom management changes/outcomes as appropriate.
• Teaches patients, families, and caregivers appropriate patient care techniques.
• Regularly communicates with clinical manager and care team.
• Performs on-call responsibilities and on-call services to patients/families as assigned.
• Other duties as assigned.
