Job summary

Heirlooms for Hospice is seeking a Weekend RN for Montrose Community Hospice to cover Sat-Sun 5am-5pm shifts. This role emphasizes relationship-based care across home and facility settings, with a $6,666 sign-on bonus.

You’ll collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, provide symptom management, and support patients and families in achieving personal goals. Requirements include 1–2 years nursing experience, Colorado RN license, CPR certification, and a valid Colorado driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years of nursing experience preferred.
• Experience in home health, hospice, or acute care strongly preferred.
• Current Colorado RN license maintained throughout employment.
• Current CPR certification maintained throughout employment.
• Valid Colorado driver’s license, reliable transportation, and proof of insurance.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to navigate emotional or high-stress situations with professionalism and compassion.
• Experience with EHR systems and Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Provide relationship-based care in patients' homes or facilities.
• Teach patients and caregivers, building confidence in care goals.
