Job summary

HopeWest is seeking a Night RN for Montrose Community Hospice. Rotate 5pm-5am, 2–3 shifts/week, with on-call/weekend as needed. Sign-on bonus $10,000. Pay range $42.52-$47.55 per hour.

Provide compassionate care in patients' homes and work with an interdisciplinary team. Ideal candidate has 1–2 years of nursing experience, hospice/home health or acute care, and holds a Colorado RN license with CPR. A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years nursing experience preferred.
• Experience in home health, hospice, or acute care preferred.
• Current Colorado RN license maintained throughout employment.
• Current CPR certification maintained throughout employment.
• Valid Colorado driver’s license, reliable transportation, and proof of insurance.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to navigate high-stress situations with professionalism and compassion.
• Experience with EHR systems and Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate hospice nursing care to patients in their homes.
• Manage symptoms and develop patient-centered care plans.
• Educate patients and families on goals of care and caregiving.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to coordinate care.
• Document care activities and maintain accurate records in EHR.

What You Bring
