Residential Home Health and Hospice in Mechanicsburg, PA is hiring a Weekend Registered Nurse (RN) to provide end-of-life care to patients in their homes. This role offers autonomy within an interdisciplinary team and opportunities for growth.

Eligible for a $10,000 first-year success bonus, the position emphasizes compassionate care, accurate EMR documentation, and driving to patient locations within the assigned territory. Weekend schedule, with travel required.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state you work.
• Two years of RN experience; hospice experience preferred.
• Current driver's license and ability to drive ~20% of the day.

Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care in a hospice setting with an interdisciplinary team.
• Respond to patient needs with urgent assessments, symptom and pain management, end-of-life support.
• Support families during weekends, ensuring they feel informed and cared for.
• Coordinate care, respond to changing patient conditions, and document in EMR.
• Travel to patient homes within the assigned territory.

What You’ll Do:

• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care in a hospice setting, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team dedicated to comfort, dignity, and quality of life

• Respond to patient needs by performing urgent assessments, managing symptoms and pain, and providing compassionate end-of-life support in real time
• Support and guide patients and families during weekends, and crisis situations, ensuring they feel informed, reassured, and cared for throughout the hospice journey
• Apply strong clinical judgment and critical thinking to coordinate care needs, respond to changing patient conditions, and maintain accurate, timely, and compliant EMR documentation
• Work independently, but never alone
• Travel to patient homes within assigned territory

Weekend RN Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse, RN license in the state you work
