Job summary

AHN Healthcare@Home in Erie, PA is seeking a Weekend RN to provide hospice care at patients’ homes, delivering compassionate, patient-centered end-of-life care while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team.

Requires an active RN license in the state, at least two years of RN experience (hospice preferred), a valid driver’s license, and the ability to drive about 20% of the day. A $10,000 first-year bonus is offered to reward milestone achievements.

What You’ll Do:

• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care in a hospice setting, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team dedicated to comfort, dignity, and quality of life

• Respond to patient needs by performing urgent assessments, managing symptoms and pain, and providing compassionate end-of-life support in real time

• Support and guide patients and families during weekends, and crisis situations, ensuring they feel informed, reassured, and cared for throughout the hospice journey

• Apply strong clinical judgment and critical thinking to coordinate care needs, respond to changing patient conditions, and maintain accurate, timely, and compliant EMR documentation

• Work independently, but never alone

• Travel to patient homes within assigned territory

Weekend RN Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse, RN license in the state you work
