Job summary

Allegheny Health Network is seeking an experienced Hospice Registered Nurse to provide end-of-life care in patients' homes within the McCandless Township area. This full-time role offers autonomy, meaningful patient relationships, and ongoing career growth.

You’ll travel to patient locations, deliver compassionate care with an interdisciplinary team, manage symptoms, educate families, and document care in EMR. A $10,000 first-year bonus reflects our commitment to your success.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse license in the state of work.
• Two years of RN experience; hospice experience preferred.
• Current driver's license and ability to travel ~20% of day.

Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care in a hospice setting with an interdisciplinary team.
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments, symptom and pain management, and end-of-life care planning.
• Educate and support patients and families through the end-of-life journey.
• Ensure thorough, compliant EMR documentation and think critically in real-time.
• Work independently, but collaborate with the team and travel to patient homes within assigned territory.

• Work independently, but never alone

• Travel to patient homes within assigned territory

RN Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse, RN license in the state you work
• Two years of RN experience and the clinical expertise to deliver quality patient care, Hospice experience preferred
• Current driver’s license and ability to spend ~20% of your day driving to/from patient locations
