Job summary

VITAS Healthcare Corporation in Florida seeks a Performance Improvement Specialist to support QAPI activities within the hospice program. You will collect, analyze, and report quality data, coordinate improvement initiatives, and liaise with central support.

The role requires independent work, strong communication, and proficiency with MS Office; travel as needed to support program management and audits.

Qualifications

• Licensed health care professional or non-clinician with quality background.
• Certified Professional in Health Care Quality (preferred).
• Knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid regulations, state licensure laws, and related requirements.
• Experience with data collection, measurement tools, and data analysis.
• Experience in quality assurance/improvement with performance improvement concepts preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support and facilitate QAPI activities for hospice program.
• Perform quality monitoring, tracking and trend analysis.
• Prepare QUR, quarterly and annual reports for leadership.
• Coordinate Performance Improvement Projects and maintain PI documentation.
• Act as liaison to Central Support and collaborate on audits.
