Job summary

Superior Hospice in Minnesota is seeking an experienced Hospice On-Call RN to cover after-hours needs across the Twin Cities Metro on a 7 on / 7 off schedule. This role offers premium hourly compensation with on-call beeper pay and the opportunity to practice at the top of your license in a supportive interdisciplinary team.

You’ll perform urgent visits, comprehensive assessments, and symptom management, with documentation in the EMR.

Qualifications

• Active Minnesota RN license required for this role.
• Hospice experience preferred; ICU/ER/oncology/palliative care/home health backgrounds encouraged.
• Strong assessment, triage and independent clinical decision-making skills.
• Ability to work evenings and overnight on a 7 On / 7 Off schedule.

Responsibilities

• Respond to after-hours patient needs across the Twin Cities Metro.
• Perform urgent hospice visits, comprehensive assessments and symptom management.
• Provide pain management and end-of-life nursing care with accurate EMR documentation.
• Guide families through changing conditions with confidence and compassion.
• Collaborate with physicians and the hospice team during care delivery.
