Job summary

Superior Hospice in Minnesota seeks an on-call RN to support hospice patients on a 7 on / 7 off schedule. You will respond to after-hours needs across the Twin Cities Metro, perform urgent visits, and manage symptoms with compassionate care.

Active Minnesota RN license is required; hospice experience is preferred. You’ll work evenings and overnights with top‑of‑license independence and full support from an interdisciplinary hospice team.

Qualifications

Active Minnesota RN license required.
Hospice experience preferred; ICU/ER/oncology/palliative care and home health nurses encouraged.
Strong assessment, triage and independent clinical decision making.
Evenings and overnights on a 7 On / 7 Off schedule.

Responsibilities

Respond to after-hours patient needs across the Twin Cities Metro.
Perform urgent hospice visits, comprehensive assessments, and symptom management.
Provide pain management, medication administration, and end-of-life nursing care.
Guide families through changing conditions with confidence and compassion.
Collaborate with physicians and the hospice team while documenting care in the EMR.
