Job summary

Gentiva Heartland Hospice is seeking an experienced RN Administrator RN I to lead a hospice location with developing census, directing interdisciplinary teams, and delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.

You will drive operational and financial performance, human resources, and compliance while collaborating with the Governing Body to meet regulatory standards and community needs.

Qualifications

• RN with minimum of Associate’s Degree in Nursing required
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) from an accredited school of nursing preferred
• Current RN license in the state of employment; CPR certification

Responsibilities

• Provides hands-on leadership for a hospice program with growth opportunity; accountable for clinical quality, operational performance, and census expansion.
• Oversees day-to-day operations; leads interdisciplinary teams and ensures high-quality, patient-centered care.
• Promotes compliance with accrediting/licensing regulatory standards; uses data to manage quality and performance.
• Develops and implements policies with Governing Body to guide services and meet community needs.
• Manages human resources, budgets, and office operations; fosters communication and staff development.
