Job summary

Gentiva is seeking an RN Hospice Administrator to join our leadership team in delivering patient-centered hospice care. You will provide strategic oversight for a mid-size hospice location, guiding interdisciplinary teams to achieve clinical excellence and sustainable census growth.

The role emphasizes regulatory compliance, financial stewardship, and staff development, with a focus on compassionate care and community engagement to support families and patients.

Qualifications

• RN with Associate’s Degree in Nursing required.
• BSN from an accredited school preferred.
• Minimum 3–5 years of healthcare sales/management experience preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of management/supervisory experience required.
• Two or more years of hospice/home care experience required.
• Current RN license in state of employment; CPR certification.
• Current automobile insurance and valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for the hospice program, overseeing clinical quality and operational performance.
• Manage budgets, financial performance, and resource planning.
• Direct and develop interdisciplinary teams and HR activities.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and adherence to accreditation standards.
• Maintain safety, quality of care, and patient satisfaction across locations.
