Job summary

Enhabit Home Health & Hospice is hiring a Hospice Nursing Aide to provide compassionate personal care to terminally ill patients in the home setting. You will assist with bathing, grooming, and daily routines while supporting families and maintaining dignity and comfort.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, state nurse aide credentials, and registration in the state’s CNA registry, with coordination to the nursing team for ongoing patient updates.

Qualifications

• Must have basic demonstrated technology skills, including operation of a mobile device.
• Must meet one of the following: 1 year of direct client care in an institutional setting or 1 year in home health/hospice in the last five years.
• Must be registered and listed in good standing on the nurse aide registry in the state of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assist hospice patients with personal care such as bathing, dressing, and oral hygiene.
• Support families by guiding them on basic health care routines and comfort measures.
• Coordinate with supervising RNs to update the care team on patient status and needs.
