Job summary

Enhabit Home Health & Hospice is seeking a Hospice Nursing Aide to assist with personal care tasks for hospice patients in home settings. You will work closely with supervising RNs to ensure patient comfort and progress.

This position emphasizes compassionate care, safety, and family support in a home health environment. Requirements include one year of direct client care experience and active nurse aide registration in the state of employment, plus basic tech skills for mobile devices.

Qualifications

• Must have at least one year of full-time direct client care experience in an institutional setting (hospital or nursing facility) or within the last five years in home health or hospice.
• Must be registered and in good standing on the nurse aide registry in the state of employment.
• Must have basic demonstrated technology skills, including operation of a mobile device.

Responsibilities

• Assist hospice patients with personal care tasks (bedding, clothing, bathing, hygiene) and wound care as directed.
• Support patients' families by instructing them on basic health-care routines and care activities.
