Job summary

BAYADA Hospice in Brattleboro, VT is seeking a compassionate Full Time Registered Nurse (RN) to join our hospice team serving Springfield, Bellows Falls and Chester VT areas. The RN provides 1:1 patient care with skilled nursing services in clients' homes.

Responsibilities include medication administration, wound care, monitoring and documenting progress, and coordinating with a multi-disciplinary team. Travel is required within designated territories; flexible schedule and strong career growth

Qualifications

• A current license as a Registered Nurse (RN) in VT.
• Minimum of one year of recent, verifiable clinical (medical/surgical) experience.
• Prior home care and/or hospice experience strongly preferred, but not required.
• Solid computer skills; EMR experience preferred.
• Ability to travel to cases as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Making home visits to clients in designated geographic territories.
• Administering medication, wound care, treatments and comfort care.
• Monitoring clients' conditions and reporting changes.
• Documenting doctors' orders and following up as needed.
• Performing client assessments as necessary.
• Occasional on-call after hours and/or weekends.

BAYADA Hospice is looking for compassionate and dedicated Full Time Registered Nurses (RN) to join our team in the hospice office, located in Brattleboro, VT. This office services hospice clients in the Springfield, Bellows Falls and Chester VT area.

• $45-$55 per hour

Prior home care and/or hospice experience strongly preferred, but not required. As a hospice nurse (RN), you will be an integral member of a multi-disciplinary health care team that provides palliative care to clients, affording them the opportunity to receive the medical care required to remain at home.
