Job summary

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Hospice team in Norwich, VT. This full-time role offers a Monday–Friday schedule with no weekends or on-call, plus a $20,000 sign-on bonus and competitive pay based on experience.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Vermont and New Hampshire.
• Minimum 1 year of recent clinical experience in medical-surgical nursing or related area.
• Home health and/or hospice experience preferred, but not required.
• Basic computer skills; EMR experience preferred.
• Ability to travel to patient homes within the assigned service area.
• A compassionate approach to patient care and a commitment to clinical excellence.

Responsibilities

• Making home visits to hospice clients within your assigned geographic territory.
• Providing skilled nursing care, including medication administration, wound care, treatments, and comfort-focused care.
• Assessing patients' conditions and communicating changes to the appropriate clinical team members.
• Implementing and documenting physician orders accurately and promptly.
• Performing patient assessments and helping coordinate individualized plans of care.
• Collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to support patients and their families throughout the hospice journey.

What You'll Do as a Hospice RN

As a BAYADA Hospice Registered Nurse, you'll be an essential member of a multidisciplinary team, providing compassionate, individualized care that helps patients remain comfortable in their homes while supporting their quality of life and dignity.
