Job summary

BAYADA Hospice seeks compassionate, dedicated full-time RNs to join our Norwich, VT team serving Windsor, Orange, and Caledonia counties in Vermont and parts of New Hampshire.

You'll provide individualized in-home hospice care in a multidisciplinary setting, with a Monday–Friday schedule, no weekends or on-call, and competitive pay based on experience. Mileage reimbursement and benefits are included, with a sign-on bonus for full-time commitment.

Qualifications

• RN license in Vermont and NH required.
• At least 1 year of recent clinical experience in medical-surgical nursing or related area.
• Home health/hospice experience preferred but not required.
• Basic computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Make home visits to hospice clients within your geographic territory.
• Provide skilled nursing care, including medications, wound care, treatments, and comfort-focused care.
• Assess patients' conditions and communicate changes to the clinical team.
• Implement and document physician orders accurately.
• Coordinate individualized plans of care with the team.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support patients and families.

What You'll Do as a Hospice RN

As a BAYADA Hospice Registered Nurse, you'll be an essential member of a multidisciplinary team, providing compassionate, individualized care that helps patients remain comfortable in their homes while supporting their quality of life and dignity.

Responsibilities include:

• Making home visits to hospice clients within your assigned geographic territory.
• Providing skilled nursing care, including medication administration, wound care, treatments, procedures, and comfort-focused care.
• Assessing patients' conditions and communicating changes to the appropriate clinical team members.
• Implementing and documenting physician orders accurately and promptly.
• Performing patient assessments and helping coordinate individualized plans of care.
• Collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to support patients and their families throughout the hospice journey.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Vermont and New Hampshire.
• At least one year of recent, verifiable clinical experience in medical-surgical nursing or a related area.
• Previous home health and/or hospice experience preferred, but not required.
• Basic computer skills; electronic medical record (EMR) experience preferred.
• Ability to travel to patient homes within the assigned service area.
• A compassionate approach to patient care and a commitment to clinical excellence.
