Amedisys is seeking a nurse practitioner for PRN home health visits in Beaumont, Texas. You will deliver compassionate care in patients' homes, assess needs, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team.

Earn $80–$85 per visit with flexible scheduling, telehealth options, PTO, and comprehensive benefits. This role requires NP licensure in Texas, prescribing authority, and Medicare billing privileges.

Competenze

• Current, unencumbered NP license in the assigned state.
• Minimum 1 year experience as NP or hospice RN in last 3 years.
• Authority to practice and prescribe as NP in the state of service.
• Medicare billing privileges as NP.
• Meet physician-nurse practitioner restrictive collaborative requirements specific to state.
• Professional liability insurance as required by state.
• Knowledge of Medicare reimbursement and coding for home and related services.
• Current CPR certification.

Mansioni

• Communicate significant findings, problems, changes in condition or environment to the clinical manager/attending physician and other members of the interdisciplinary team.
• Complete face to face encounters and assesses disease related changes, decline in function, and quality of life.
• Order and review labs, X-rays, EKGs and other diagnostic procedures and document the treatment plan with the collaborating physician.
• Make referrals to other disciplines as indicated by the patient's needs.
• Actively participate in interdisciplinary team conferences.
