Job summary

Hinds LifeCare, a leading nonprofit hospice provider in California's Central Valley, seeks a Full Time Medical Records Coordinator to maintain patient records in paper and electronic formats and ensure regulatory compliance. Under the Medical Records Supervisor, you will manage physician signatures, CTIs, POCs, and internal/external record requests while supporting a multidisciplinary hospice team.

Your role requires HIPAA knowledge, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Experience in scheduling or managing patient services within hospital, healthcare, or hospice settings is required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain complete, accurate, and compliant patient medical records in paper and electronic formats.
• Review admissions documentation for technical accuracy and completeness.
• Review physician orders, CTIs, and Plans of Care for accuracy and completeness.
