Hinds LifeCare is seeking a Full Time Medical Records Coordinator in Fresno, CA. The role requires maintaining and reviewing medical records, processing admissions, and ensuring compliance with HIPAA and Joint Commission standards within the hospice setting.

Compensation ranges from $23.00 to $26.00 hourly with a generous benefits package and up to 25% travel. Candidates should have a HS diploma or GED and 2+ years of scheduling or patient services experience.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 2 years experience scheduling or managing patient services in hospital, healthcare, or hospice.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking under changing healthcare conditions.
• Knowledge of HIPAA and hospice regulations.
• Must have a valid driver's license and willingness to use a personal vehicle.
• Proof of automobile insurance and vehicle registration.
• Ability to meet physical demands (lift/carry 10 lbs).

Responsabilidades

• Maintains paper and electronic medical records in accordance with agency policy and regulatory requirements.
• Processes admissions by reviewing documentation for technical accuracy and completeness.
• Reviews physician orders, CTIs, and Plans of Care for technical accuracy and completeness.
• Routes documentation to appropriate clinicians/physicians for signature and timely completion.
• Maintains confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA, Joint Commission standards, and all applicable state and federal hospice regulations.
• Establishes and maintains positive working relationships with all agency departments, team members, volunteers, vendors, and business partners.
