Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• At least three years’ experience in health care marketing, preferably hospice care operations.
• Ability to work independently to increase business targets and maintain community relationships.
• Ability to market and deal tactfully with customers and the community.
• Organized territory management with limited supervision.
• Strong communications, negotiation, and public relations skills.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Generate business by creating new and maintaining relationships with physicians, hospitals, nursing homes, discharge planners, and other referral sources.
• Prepare and conduct sales and educational presentations for physicians, businesses, and local community groups.
• Assist in establishing marketing budgets and monitor resource allocations.
• Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing plan to meet volume projections.
• Maintain positive relationships with referral and payer sources.
• Document visits, follow-ups, and interactions; target 50 quality interactions per week.
• Ensure branding is aligned with Vesper Hospice culture.
• Monitor cost effectiveness of marketing efforts.
