Job summary

Providence at Home with Compassus is seeking a Hospice Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver compassionate, patient‑centered care in home environments. You will assess patients and families, develop plans of care with the IDG, and provide professional nursing care across the nursing process.

The role requires an RN license, a relevant degree, and BLS certification within 30 days. Prior hospice or home health experience is preferred, with on‑call duties and a strong emphasis on dignity and comfort at

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor's degree from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current, unencumbered RN license in the State of employment.
• Certification in BLS from American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.
• Hospice or home health experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Completes assessment of patient and family to determine hospice needs.
• Provides a complete physical assessment and history using the nursing process.
• Writes and initiates Plan of Care with the Interdisciplinary Group (IDG).
• Regularly reevaluates needs and revises the Plan of Care as necessary.
• Administers medications and treatments per the Plan of Care.
• Participates in on‑call duties and maintains documentation of patient status.
