Job summary

Amedisys is seeking a full-time hospice aide to join our team in Pennsylvania. You will provide compassionate personal care, assist with mobility, meals, and light housekeeping in patients’ homes, and document changes under a registered nurse’s plan of care.

Must have a PA CNA license with hospice/homehealth experience; schedule is Monday–Friday days. Competitive benefits include health plans, PTO, wellness rewards, and a 401(k) match.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Current state CNA certification is required.
• CPR certification is required; valid driver license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides personal care services to patients.
• Applies safety principles and proper body mechanics during care tasks.
• Plans and prepares nutritious meals and assists with feeding.
• Performs homemaking and environmental services as assigned.
• Observes and reports changes in patient status to the nurse.
