Job summary

Heart to Heart Hospice seeks an Executive Director to lead agency operations, finance and clinical performance. The role requires licensure or degree and proven management experience in health care settings, plus strong interpersonal and executive presence.

You will supervise staff, ensure compliant service delivery, and drive budgeting and strategic initiatives to sustain quality care and financial stability.

Qualifications

• Must have license or degree and management experience in health care.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with hospice/healthcare operations knowledge.
• 3+ years progressive healthcare operations management experience.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
• Understanding of healthcare business processes and Medicare Hospice Benefit knowledge is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Organize and direct agency operations, budgeting, and strategic goals.
• Ensure interdisciplinary care while maintaining ethical practice.
• Direct staff during admissions, discharges, transfers and services.
• Oversee staff education, orientation, and performance improvement.
• Maintain staff coverage during service hours and support services.
• Ensure compliance with laws, regulations and policies.
• Monitor budgeting, accounting, and financial stability.
• Evaluate programs, services, and personnel.
