Heartlite Hospice, part of LHC Group within the Optum family, seeks an Executive Director to serve as the Administrator of the home health provider and oversee day-to-day operations. You will coordinate projects, supervise staff, and ensure care aligns with company goals and regulatory requirements.

This role emphasizes profitability, staff retention, and quality of services while acting as a liaison across management and departments.

Qualifications

• Current and unrestricted RN licensure with 1+ years supervisory or administrative experience in a home healthcare or related field.
• Current driver's license and vehicle insurance, access to a dependable vehicle, or public transportation.
• CPR certification or ability to complete within 90 days of hire.
• Home care experience.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and completes assigned projects to effectively support the immediate and long-range objectives of the company.
• Oversees the eligibility of patients referred to home care services, planning for the services to be provided to patients and supervising their total home health care.
• Implements and maintains administrative practices, agency philosophy, goals, and policies which assure compliance with applicable state and federal regulations.
• Enhances the profitability of the agency; and providing motivation and retention of a qualified staff and assure the quality of services delivered.
